Construction is underway on The Iberian Pig's new location inside the Hanover Buckhead Village development, and the tapas restaurant looks to open its doors this winter.

The Cincinnati Pops Orchestra announced today it will add a bonus concert this year that features the iconic score from the original “Star Wars” while the film plays simultaneously on an overhead screen.

The Pops will present “Star Wars: A New Hope In Concert,” featuring Oscar-winning composer John Williams’ musical score performed live as the complete 1977 movie plays on an overhead screen Sept. 7-9 at Music Hall. The three performances will be led by Pops conductor John Morris Russell.

New life will soon be breathed into an old fire station in metro Birmingham.

The former Chelsea Fire Station on Chesser Drive will be redeveloped for a fire station-themed restaurant, according to the Shelby County Reporter.

The city of Chelsea recently approved the building for sale.

Mayor Tony Picklesimer declined to reveal project details but said work would get underway soon.
