Cincinnati Pops Orchestra adds innovative ‘Star Wars’ concert

The Cincinnati Pops Orchestra announced today it will add a bonus concert this year that features the iconic score from the original “Star Wars” while the film plays simultaneously on an overhead screen.

The Pops will present “Star Wars: A New Hope In Concert,” featuring Oscar-winning composer John Williams’ musical score performed live as the complete 1977 movie plays on an overhead screen Sept. 7-9 at Music Hall. The three performances will be led by Pops conductor John Morris Russell.
