The St. Louis-based construction firm has hired a new chief financial officer with a background in finance at a publicly traded infrastructure construction business.

A private company near Detroit that owns thousands of mobile home sites across the country has acquired 41 properties in Wisconsin, the firm said Monday. They were part of a 50-property portfolio that also included mobile home parks in Michigan and Minnesota.

The City Plan Commission agreed with local preservationists and Union Hill residents in backing a historic district around four vacant buildings northeast of 31st and Main streets.
