Of the 5,000 fastest-growing privately held companies in the United States this year, only four Hawaii-based companies — less than 0.1 percent of the list — made the cut, according to an annual list compiled by Inc.com.

Smoke could be seen for miles from a 2nd alarm fire burning near Tempe Town Lake.

The fire started around 2:30 p.m. Wednesday near the Loop 202 Red Mountain and Scottsdale Road.

Firefighters say initial reports indicate the fire was caused by roofing material that ignited at a construction site on the north side of the lake.

Real estate giant Keller Williams is partnering with Offerpad to roll out a so-called iBuyer program in 10 states, including Florida, by the end of the year to give consumers more options in selling their homes.
