Charles Rivkin, head of the Motion Picture Association of America and a former U.S. Ambassador to both Moracco and France, has acquired an Embassy Row mansion in the 2300 block of Massachusetts Ave. NW for $5.25 million, according to the D.C. Recorder of Deeds. The sale closed Thursday between the Rivkin/Tolson 2000 Trust — Rivkin is married to Susan Tolson — and seller Wauauga Properties II LLC.
The MPAA declined to comment on the sale.
