First United Bank and Woodbine Development have purchased Advancial Tower and plan to use the high-rise as the Oklahoma-based bank’s Dallas headquarters, The Dallas Morning News reported.

The partnership bought the 17-story, 147,000-square-foot building located at Woodall Rodgers Freeway and Akard Street from a group headed by restaurateur and real estate investor Mike Karnes, which has owned the 35-year-old property since 2015, the News reported.

A large Kansas insurance company will buy the soon-to-be-former offices of The Lawrence Journal-World.

Blue Cross Blue Shield of Kansas has a deal to buy the newspaper offices at 645 New Hampshire St., The Journal-World reports. The deal does not include the newspaper’s print plant on the north end of the block.
