Prices in the Dayton area's housing market continued to rise in September.

The average sale price of a single-family home or condominium in September was $167,717 — an increase of 5 percent from last year, according to a report from Dayton Realtors. Additionally, the median home price saw a 7 percent increase from September 2017, reaching $145,000 last month.
