Multnomah County plans to sell its historic courthouse to a busy Portland real estate investor
As expected, Multnomah County has whittled down the list of bidders for its historic downtown courthouse to one who's offered up $28 million for the building.

Schnucks buying 19 Shop ‘n Save locations in St. Louis
Schnuck Markets Inc. has agreed to buy 19 St. Louis-area Shop ‘n Save stores — 14 in Missouri and five in Illinois.
A purchase price was not disclosed.
As part of this transaction, Schnucks and Supervalu, the parent company of Shop 'n Save, will enter into an agreement for Supervalu to serve as the primary supplier for nine of Schnucks’ existing stores located across northern Illinois, Iowa and Wisconsin. Schnucks also is buying four of Shop ‘n Save’s seven fuel centers in the deal.
