Downtown apartment landlords have some huge bragging rights. The 78701 ZIP code ranked in a new report as the most expensive place to rent in the Southwest. Check out these head-turning numbers — and remember they're still not anywhere near so-called top-tier cities.

New apartment openings are projected to drop nearly 40 percent in the city of Seattle, but the number of planned rental units is skyrocketing in Redmond.

According to a recent study by SmartAsset, the top 10 easiest places to sell a home in Colorado are almost all in the Denver metro area.

To compile its ranking, SmartAsset looked at four factors: housing market stability, affordability, fluidity and risk of loss.

Ahead of a much anticipated city council hearing on rent stabilization, members of the Sacramento City Council released differing proposals for addressing the issue.

Three city councilmembers introduced a package including 18-month leases and mediation between renters and landlords, while Mayor Darrell Steinberg called for capping rent increases to 5 percent annually for three years.

A second sweeping lawsuit has been filed against Nike Inc. in the wake of reports about a “boys' club” culture at the sportswear company.

This time, the lawsuit was filed on behalf of the company's shareholders, not former employees. It targets Nike's board of directors and co-founder Phil Knight. Knight stepped down from the board in 2016 but remains an emeritus director.

The lawsuit also names departed Nike Brand President Trevor Edwards as a defendant along with CEO Mark Parker.
