San Mateo office building fills up with new lease
Apixio Inc., a company specializing in data science solutions for the healthcare industry, is moving to 1850 Gateway in San Mateo.
The company leased 21,440 square feet in the 142,900-square-foot building to house its 120 employees with plans to add about 30 more staff.

Bay Area construction giant Webcor opens downtown San Jose office
Webcor, the second-largest Bay Area general contractor by 2017 revenue, opened a San Jose office this week.
Shelley Doran, Webcor's senior vice president of business development, will lead the office at 1 Almaden Blvd. The 3,700-square-foot space will grow to around 35 employees. Webcor also has offices in San Francisco, which is its headquarters, and Alameda and Los Angeles.
