Downtown area population, number of residential units dip
Despite several new apartment projects being added in 2017, the population in the city’s basin neighborhoods dropped slightly after a decade of growth, according to Downtown Cincinnati Inc.’s annual report.

Howard Hanna annouces two franchise recruits
Howard Hanna Real Estate Services has added two more firms into its ever-growing fold.
The O'Hara-based residential real estate firm announced that Coldwell Banker Bainbridge Kaufman Real Estate, a seven-office firm based in Crawford County that's been in business for 66 years, has become a Howard Hanna franchise as of April 26.
The deal follows the late March move by Century 21 Krall Real Estate, based in Lebanon County, to join Howard Hanna as well.

Local book store Books & Books teamed with accounting firm Lopez Levi Lowenstein Glinsky to buy a Coral Gables office/retail building for $15 million.
The deals means Books & Books, led by Mitchell Kaplan, is its own landlord, and LLLG can move to a new headquarters.

Email technology startup signs lease in Weston Centre
San Antonio-based Mailgun Technologies Inc. signed a lease for office space downtown this month.
The startup, which was spun out of Rackspace Hosting Inc. in a $50 million deal last year, is expected to move into a new office on the 11th floor of Weston Centre in early May.
