Burger joint chain Checkers Drive-In Restaurants Inc., operator of Checkers and Rally’s restaurants, wants to grow its Milwaukee-area footprint by at least 20 more locations.
The Tampa, Fla.-based chain has about 880 locations nationwide, including four in Wisconsin. Three of those eateries are in the Milwaukee area, and franchise development director Bruce Kim says he sees room for growth over the next five years.
