Community Tissue Services is moving forward with its plans to add a $50 million new facility.
The Kettering-based nonprofit, which is the largest tissue bank in the United States and one of the largest providers of skin grafts in the world, broke ground on its 132,000-square-foot facility in the Miami Valley Research Park on Sept. 25. The new building will be an expansion of the existing Center for Tissue, Innovation and Research facility located within the Kettering research park.
