Crawdaddy’s restaurant in West Allis has new owner


A popular Cajun-style eatery in West Allis that closed abruptly this summer has a new owner.

Crawdaddy’s restaurant closed its doors at 9427 W. Greenfield Ave. in mid-July. The restaurant offered a variety of seafood fare such as paella, gumbo, scallops, catfish and jambalaya, among other menu items.

Crawdaddy’s was previously located at 6414 W. Greenfield Ave., where it closed for a three-year break starting in 2013 before reopening about two miles down the road in Feburary of 2016.
