Director of Charlotte real estate trade association to depart for new job


The executive director of the Real Estate and Building Industry Coalition will depart the trade association for a new job in early September.

Joe Padilla, who has led REBIC since 2011, said this week that he has accepted a new position at Smith Douglas Homes, a Woodstock, Georgia-based homebuilder with a Charlotte division. Padilla's last day with REBIC is Sept. 6.
