Ed Goldman: Quibbles & Bits: Instant offers and mascots


I have a couple of things on my mind today — which are roughly two things more than usual, I can hear you calculating. The first concerns a flyer I received in the mail with the salutation, “Get an instant offer on your home.” It came from a company called opendoor.com and had my correct home address on the flyer itself, not just the envelope in which it arrived.
