Fidelity files trademark lawsuit over Omni’s use of ‘Seaport Hotel’


Fidelity Investments Inc. has filed a lawsuit against Omni Hotels Management Corp. and the team behind the Omni Boston Seaport Hotel, a $550 million project that broke ground Tuesday morning, claiming that its use of the phrase “Seaport Hotel" infringes the financial services giant's trademark.
