Fitness center franchise to expand footprint in Alabama


An Atlanta fitness center franchise wants to expand its presence in the Yellowhammer State.

Over the next year, Workout Anytime plans to open six new locations in Alabama, according to AL.com.

Cities that may receive new gyms include Birmingham, Montgomery and Gadsden.

The company already has 10 locations in Leeds, Anniston, Sylacauga, Huntsville, Athens, Boaz, Florence, Jacksonville, Muscle Shoals, and Valley.

The move is part of a push to grow to 200 locations.
