Several Kansas City-area hospitals have earned a spot on the U.S. News & World Report’s latest “Best Hospitals” list.
The University of Kansas Hospital, ranked at No. 1 in the Kansas City metro on the list released Tuesday, is also the only area hospital to make the list of the top 50 best hospitals for cancer. It is also nationally ranked in: cardiology and heart surgery; ear, nose and throat; geriatrics; pulmonology and lung surgery; and urology.
