Former Cerner president will be CEO of newly merged, renamed health care company


Former Cerner Corp. President Donald Trigg will be CEO and a board member of apree health, the newly branded company resulting from the $370 million merger of Vera Whole Health Inc. and Castlight Health Inc.

Trigg joined North Kansas City-based Cerner in 2002, serving a variety of roles — including chief marketing officer — before becoming president in February 2020. He left in August 2021 for what the company treated as a termination without cause, as defined in his severance agreement. In…
