Franchisee to reopen Five Points South Jimmy John’s


After reopening the Jimmy John’s downtown, a major franchisee is looking to do the same in Five Points South.

Brandon Stewart said he has signed a lease for the 1919 11th Ave. S. spot and is currently going through the permitting and hiring process to prepare for a late May or early June reboot.

When three Birmingham Jimmy John’s locations in downtown, Five Points South and Lakeview suddenly closed in January, Stewart started making plans to acquire and reopen the stores.
