Hahnemann, St. Christopher’s nurses approve 3-year deal


The nursing staff at Hahnemann University Hospital and St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children voted overwhelmingly to approve three-year contracts.

The 1,400 registered nurses at the two Philadelphia hospitals, both owned by American Academic Health System, are members of the Pennsylvania Association of Staff Nurses and Allied Professionals.

PASNAP officials said the new contracts contain among the most comprehensive standards for nurse staffing in Pennsylvania.
