Here’s how Ohio fared at the Great American Beer Festival


It was a record year for Ohio at the annual Great American Beer Festival in Denver.

Buckeye State breweries hauled in 14 medals over the weekend, though the bulk of those wins came from Cleveland and Cincinnati area breweries. Central Ohio was home to just one winner with Columbus Brewing Co.’s Melk Stout taking home a bronze in the Sweet Stout or Cream Stout category.
