Hillsborough, Pinellas, St. Pete and Tampa win rental assistance money


The U.S. Department of the Treasury has highlighted the Hillsborough County government for its outreach strategy to mitigate evictions during the ongoing housing crisis.

The reward? An additional $2.55 million to help pay the rent for about 500 families. The money will be available to spend in March, according to a spokesperson.
