Iconic Maui home designed by Ettore Sottsass listed for $9.8M: Slideshow


The owners of an iconic modern home in the Upcountry Maui town of Kula, one of only seven houses designed by Italian architect and designer Ettore Sottsass, listed the house for sale this week with an asking price of $9.8 million.

The owners, designer Adrian Olabuenaga and his designer wife, Lesley Bailey Olabuenaga, commissioned Sottsass, founder of the Memphis Group design and architecture studio, to design the house, which was completed in 1997.
