A much-anticipated Italian kitchen in Mountain Brook is gearing up to launch on the first day of autumn.
B. Lane Carrick is opening Neapolitan Pizza Company MidiCi at 270 Rele St. on Saturday, Sept. 22.
The restaurant is known for its Neapolitan pizzas and also serves appetizers, salads and desserts. MidiCi (which means “You tell me,” in Italian) will include an imported Italian wood-burning oven from Naples and an indoor live olive tree.
