Women Construction Owners & Executives, a national organization aimed at promoting female leadership in construction work, has formed a Kansas City chapter and selected its board members.
Lisa Garney, president and founder of LMG Construction Services LLC, was named chapter president. She said the chapter started formation discussions last October and finalized things earlier this month with the approval of the group's first board of directors.
