Long-time Minnesota State Fair CEO Jerry Hammer to retire


Minnesota State Fair CEO Jerry Hammer, who's held the position for 26 years, will retire next spring, the organization announced on Monday.

Hammer is the longest-serving top executive of the 169-year-old Great Minnesota Get-Together, which is one of the largest and best-attended such event in the world, according to a news release announcing Hammer's retirement.
