Louisville chef Dean Corbett dies


Dean Corbett, a well-known Louisville chef and restaurant owner, died Saturday following a massive heart attack, according to a report by news partner WHAS-TV.

Corbett moved to Louisville in the early 1980s and quickly worked his way up the industry ladder, purchasing his own restaurant, Equus, in 1985.

Corbett's: An American Place, a fine dining restaurant, opened on Bardstown Road in 2007.
