Lucas says KC’s affordable housing creation policy isn’t working, so he unveils a new approach


Introduced by Mayor Quinton Lucas and Councilwoman Melissa Robinson, the Housing Kansas City initiative includes four proposals through which the city could invest as much as $50 million in affordable housing while adjusting current incentive policies that some developers describe as burdensome.
