Minnesota’s unemployment rate drops to 2.8% in September; here’s who’s hiring and firing


Minnesota's unemployment rate dropped to 2.8 percent in September — the lowest it's been since May 1999. But the the state lost 1,400 jobs last month and August's job loss total was revised from 250 to 2,500, according to the Minnesota Department of Employment and Economic Development.
