Monthly apartment rates in Milwaukee slightly up, but still below national average


Renters in Milwaukee are paying slightly a bit more than they were around this time last year, but are still paying less than the rest of the country, according to a recent report from Madison-based Abodo.

The median cost of a one-bedroom apartment in Milwaukee for the month of April is $830, which is less than a percentage point increase from March, but a 2.61 percent increase from the year-ago period, the report says.
