On the patio wall of Nashville’s The Listening Room Cafe, next to a mural of Johnny Cash, is a quote from owner and songwriter Chris Blair:

“Music is the universal language of the world. Music comes to us through a song. Every song has a songwriter.”

Today, the latter part of the quote, from an interview Blair gave years ago, is no longer true. With the dawn of AI tools like ChatGPT, any connected device can produce a decent song in a matter of seconds.
