N.C. among top states for attracting new residents — here’s where they’re moving from


It appears North Carolina is a popular choice for people looking to relocate.

The Tar Heel State posted the fourth-highest migration increase in the U.S. from 2015 to 2016 — the latest year for which figures are available — with an overall net gain of 80,752 residents. That's according to new research by American City Business Journals, CBJ's parent company.
