New owners rebrand, refresh 8-year-old Italian restaurant in Houston’s Energy Corridor


The Devine Affair has been rebranded. The 8-year-old restaurant, which sits at 14021 Memorial Drive in the Energy Corridor, was bought by native New Yorkers Maria and Bill Loveday in late spring. Now, it’s Bacaro Kitchen & Wine Bar, a more contemporary restaurant and wine bar.

Along with a name change, the 2,400-square-foot restaurant underwent some small cosmetic changes, largely to modernize the space. The space seats 70 people, not including the patio, which seats roughly another 20.
