An Elk Grove family is converting a former horse ranch into a winery and event venue.
Matthew Pratt and his wife Heather are turning the 47-acre Bradley Ranch at 11070 Bradley Ranch Road into a winery and venue for country weddings and other events.
They are holding a soft opening from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, and plan on being fully operational in the next three weeks.
Their license allows them to hold events of up to 350 people.
