NTSB report: Plane in crash that killed Raleigh-based bank CEO ‘was not to be flown’


Federal authorities have released a preliminary report in connection to the Jan. 7 plane crash that claimed the life of two North Carolina businessmen, including the CEO of a Raleigh bank.

Eric John Bergevin, 53, who was CEO of both Integrated Financial Holdings in Raleigh and its banking subsidiary, Illinois chartered West Town Bank & Trust, and 54-year-old Christian Rask Fauchald were killed in the crash in southeast Virginia.
