Philips nears hiring goal at new downtown hub


Less than 16 months since announcing it would consolidate its North American business services unit into a new Nashville office, health-tech giant Philips has nearly met its hiring goal.

Philips has filled almost 700 of its planned 815 positions inside Philips Plaza, Philips Global Business Services North America Business Leader Maria Houchins, the company's top local executive, said today during an open house at the Dutch company’s new offices. Philips employs more than 1,000 workers total locally.
