Popular S.F. bakery expands into long-vacant Inner Sunset location


After signing a lease last year in the Sunset’s Parkside neighborhood, Tartine has finally opened its doors for business.

The gourmet San Francisco bakery known for its long, snaking lines of dedicated patrons in the Mission District has now added a cafe serving snacks, full meals and alcohol.

Tartine 9th Ave. will be a casual, all-day restaurant with service from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily. The cafe will serve breakfast, lunch and weekend brunch with plans to launch dinner service by late summer.…
