Ready to start a medical marijuana business? Here’s what a Missouri license costs


The road to getting in the medical marijuana business in Missouri begins Jan. 5.

The Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services said Wednesday that it will begin accepting application fees on Jan. 5 for companies wanting licenses for dispensaries ($6,000), cultivation facilities ($10,000) and for making cannabis-infused products ($6,000). The fees are nonrefundable, and the actual facility application forms for licenses are not yet available.
