Ro taps former BuzzFeed exec and Bit.ly co-founder to be CTO


Direct-to-consumer online pharmacy Ro has recruited a new chief technology officer.

After a four-week search, the New York-based company has named Todd Levy, a former executive at BuzzFeed, as its new CTO.

The news comes just three months after investor Ken Lerer confirmed that he would be leaving BuzzFeed. While it's not known whether the inner turmoil at BuzzFeed led to Levy's departure, we do know from a company memo sent to the New York Business Journal that Ro had held a "CTO kickoff meeting"…
