The top 20 most expensive home sales in the Triad for July, August and September totaled nearly $28.9 million, according to research by Triad Business Journal.
TBJ sorted through the public records to produce the list, making a few judgment calls along the way to weed out sales in which the land constituted the bulk of the price. A few of the highest-priced homes were well hidden among trees or other behind other barriers, though most were in established neighborhoods.
