St. Louis Symphony Orchestra increases revenue, ticket sales in fiscal 2018


Ticket revenue and total operating revenue grew in fiscal 2018 at the St. Louis Symphony Orchestra, which celebrated its 50th year at Powell Hall.

According to SLSO annual report, ticket revenue was up 5.5 percent over the previous year and total operating revenue increased to $30.9 million from $30.29 million the previous year. In addition, the organization’s expenses totaled $30.4 million resulting in an operating surplus of $490,000, up from $18,000 in 2017.
