Study: Dayton area cities named most tax-friendly to retire in Ohio


Two Dayton area communities emerge as most tax-friendly places to retire, according to a recent study.

SmartAsset, a personal finance company based in New York City, conducted its fourth annual study to determine which locations across the nation would be the most tax-friendly for retirees.

Carlisle came in at No. 4 and Oxford came in at No. 6 on the retirement tax friendliness index.
