Voyageur Brewing Co., which got its start in Grand Marais eight years ago, is expanding operations.
The News-Tribune of Duluth reports that the brewery has taken over an adjacent building at 211 W. Highway 61 (known locally as the Cobblestone Building). The move will give Voyageur more preparation space, as well as open up possibilities for barrel-aged beers.
Voyageur opened in 2014 with an emphasis on capturing tourist traffic to the northern Minnesota town on the shores of Lake Superior.
