Walkin’ Dog in Northstar Center will close for good after 31 years


Walkin' Dog, a hot dog stand that's been part of downtown Minneapolis' lunchtime scene for 31 years, will close later this month, its owner announced over the weekend.

Dave Magnuson, who ran the shop inside Northstar Center's food court, said on a Facebook post that the renovation of the building, and a family decision, prompted the move. The stand's last day will be April 21.
