Wendy’s site on West 5th Avenue could be torn down


A former Wendy’s location near Grandview Heights could be facing the wrecking ball.

Developers Kohr Royer Griffith have filed for a demolition permit with the city of Columbus that would take down that nearly 3,000-square-foot former fast food site at 1724 W. 5th Ave. in Columbus.

John Royer, KRG president, confirmed that the redevelopment plan is for a new Valvoline Instant Oil change operation.

A KRG affiliate is the property owner.
