Albuquerque health insurance provider raises awareness about the importance of maternal health care


According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the majority of maternal deaths are preventable, yet according to the World Health Organization, maternal mortality rates in the U.S. increased by 75% over the past 20 years – the highest rate in the developed world.
