Hank Hudson Brewing Co., a new brewery at the The Fairways of Halfmoon in Saratoga County, opened last week.

The brewery, adjacent to the clubhouse at 17 Johnson Rd. in Halfmoon, comes from owners Darren Van Heusen and Chris Crounse.

Las Vegas-based restaurant group Nacho Daddy plans to open its fourth location, and first in the Southeast, at Parsons Alley in Duluth this December.

The 3,942 square-foot restaurant will be located at 3095 Main St., and includes indoor and outdoor seating, a rooftop patio overlooking the Parsons Alley outdoor amphitheater, 15 TVs and an open floor plan.

Dunkin' is throwing away the 'Donuts.'

Canton-based Dunkin' Brands Group Inc. announced Tuesday that it will officially change the chain's name from “Dunkin' Donuts” to simply “Dunkin.'” The change will be effective January 2019, and will be reflected on all packaging, as well as the company's advertising and website. All new and remodeled stores in the U.S. will use the new 'Dunkin' logo on interior and exterior signage.

According to one report, Sacramento could be reaching a tipping point in terms of new bar and restaurant offerings.

Mauna Loa Macadamia Nut has voluntarily recalled products produced at the company’s Keaau facility between Sept. 6 and 21 due to potential contamination of Eschericia coli (E. coli).

The recall comes a few days after the facility was required to close its operations following the detection of E. coli in the well water and distribution system that supplies the Big Island facility. No illnesses related to the water have been reported to the state.
