The kickoff to Columbus Craft Beer Week includes a new place to toss back a pint.

BrewDog USA opened its third Central Ohio watering hole Friday at 463 W. Town St. in Franklinton. It joins the flagship DogTap restaurant and taproom at its Canal Winchester brewery and a Short North bar that opened last month.

After Midnight Group, the Minneapolis company behind Cowboy Jack’s and several other Twin Cities bars, has purchased the former Brine’s Restaurant & Bar.

Local fast-casual restaurant chain Cava is closing in on another substantial round of fundraising, according to public filings.

Cava Group Inc. notified the Securities and Exchange Commission Thursday of a $35 million equity offering. Of that, it's already raised $33,461,206 from 10 investors, according to the filing.
